MCAA Executive Board Meeting Plans Finalize

Summer Board Meeting Schedule
Plans for each of the day sessions at the Summer Executive Board Meeting of the MCAA are now in final stage.
Tuesday, July 30
Check-in at the Abbey.
Wednesday, July 31
9:00 a.m. Business Systems & Methods Clinic. Under direction of Dee Brown, MCAA Education Committee Chairman.
11:00 a.m. "Hi-Bond" Mortar School. Under the direction of Robert Tubesing, MCAA Research Committee Chairman.
Moderated by Joseph Szabo.
Instructors from Structural Clay Products Research Foundation, Geneva, III., and Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich.
Members will be required to register in advance for this session and to gain "Hi-Bond" status.
Opening this years meeting on Wednesday morning will be a Clinic on Business Methods and Systems produced by the MCAA Education Committee in cooperation with the Burroughs Co. It will discuss systems the small as well as the large operation and present manual and mechanized.
At 11 o'clock the MCAA Research Committee under the direction of Robert Tubesing will take over the program and present the "Hi-Bond" Mortar School.
The beautiful new Abbey located on the western edge of Lake Geneva at Fontana, Wisconsin. This is Mid-America's newest biggest year 'round resort. You'll enjoy the Harbor Lane, a modern boardwalk that circles the lake-lagoon. Plan to attend the Summer Executive Board Meeting starting on Wednesday.
Operating the school will be Joseph Szabo, committee member. Structural Clay Products Research Foundation and Dow Chemical Co. are cooperating with MCAA Research Committee in making this comprehensive course available. Only MCAA members who attend this three hour course in its entirety will be able to meet the requirements of "Hi-Bond" status. Attendance will be limited to MCAA members who register in advance at the Executive Office.
Thursday morning MCAA Legal Counsel Peersen will take over to present a Labor Relations Session. Mr. Pedersen will discuss problems facing MCAA Contractors and their members and will review recent developments in the legislative field.
Thursday afternoon and Friday morning will be devoted to special conferences and MCAA Committee Meetings.
On Thursday evening a special cocktail hour is planned by the Abbey Management. An old fashion

Easily accesible for those driving by cor, the Abbey is located at the far western end of beautiful Lake Geneva. Helicopter service con be arranged from Chicago's O'Hare airport and for private planes, Big Foot airport, two miles from the Abbey is available. Commuter trains from the Milwaukee Road and the Chicago Northwestern serve the area.
