Compliance Report
On Federal jobs, all contractors having subcontracts for $5,000 or more, or having prime contracts for $100,000 or more, must complete special Compliance Forms, showing the racial breakdown of their entire personnel from foremen to laborers, to president to clerk.
First reports were due in by May 31st on work in progress or contracted for as of January 1st. After the March 31st date reports will be required on a quarterly basis. Separate reports will be required on each government contract a contractor has in effect.
The Government requires contractors and subcontractors on Federal work to furnish concrete proof that they have established and announced a company employment policy banning discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, or national origin. This is the essence of compliance under Presidential Order 109-25.
