Dear Joe:
There are three generations of masons in my family including my father and son, with ninety (90) years of masonry among us. The views of us are pleased and impressed with By-Bly Masonry Scaffolding. If in some way I can help to promote the use of By-Bly Masonry Scaffolding, I will do so.
By-Bly Masonry Scaffolding not only increased my masonry in the wall start by more than 25%, but also eliminated 80% of the problems previously encountered in trying to use other automatic self-elevating masonry scaffolding.
Using the same bricklayers and the same laborers on the same job with forty foot (40') high brick walls, I converted from 518" walls thru scaffolding frames to By-Bly Masonry Scaffolding and increased my production by 25% per mason per day with no additional laborers.
Now I am able to transport my scaffolding on a small (one ton) truck. The driver with the help of one laborer can load and unload every piece by hand. Before any power driven equipment is brought on the job, two laborers without supervision can start it.
By-Bly Masonry Scaffolding will help out in the wall cost for the contractors and will help the entire industry offset the increased wages and promote more masonry.
Yours truly,
George L. Jensen
