Big Trees for Telegraph Landing
This 14,000-pound, 30-foot Monterey Pine was one of seven full-grown trees planted recently at Telegraph Landing, a $19 million condominium complex under construction on the San Francisco waterfront at the foot of Telegraph Hill. The tree planting, accomplished by means of a large crane, is the first stage of extensive landscaping at the 189-unit masonry project opening in June. The trees are believed to be the largest ever planted in San Francisco.
Hyster Forms New Marketing Division
A new marketing organization intended to provide lift truck customers with direct assistance in solving their material handling problems has been announced by Hyster Company, Portland, Ore. Hyster manufactures and markets a broad range of materials handling equipment. Nucleus of the new organization is an eight-man team of Hyster veterans averaging 10 years of experience in matching lift truck capability with a variety of industry needs. During the past year they have concentrated their efforts on deepening their knowledge of various special areas.
