Officers

Section 1. The officers of this Association shall consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. In addition there shall be ten (10) Regional Vice Presidents, each elected by the Chapters in his region-one from Region A-Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Region B-Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia; Region C-Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Region D-Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin: Region E-lowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota: Region F-Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas: Region G-Arizona, Colorado. Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming; Region H-California, Hawaii, Nevada; Region 1-Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washing ton: Region J-Canada. All shall serve one year each or until their successors have been duly elected and qualified. The Treasurer shall give bond in the amount fixed by the Execu tive Board.

In the proposal for the dues increase. Article XVIII was revised to read:

ARTICLE VIII

Section 1. The initiation fee for membership in the As- sociation shall be $50 for each individual member and each individual member of each chapter. Dues payable to the MCAA will be:

Chapter Members

(1) Commencing October 1, 1978, $120 per each indi vidual member of each chapter with a minimum annual dues charge of $240 per chapter:

(2) Commencing October 1, 1979, $150 per each indi vidual member of each chapter with a minimum annual dues charge of $300 per chapter:

Dues for Canadian members shall be 50% of the dues set forth above. Payable in U.S. funds per annum. All dues are payable to MCAA on the 1st of October.

Individual Members

(1) Commencing October 1, 1978, individual member- ship will be $170 per year.

(2) Commencing October 1, 1979. individual member- ship will be $200 per year.

Sections 2 through 5, Article XVIII remain the same.

The major social event of the Conference, the MCAA Annual Banquet and Dance, was held Wednesday evening. Acting as master of ceremonies as in years past, MCAA Executive Vice President George A. Miller introduced the Officers and Regional Vice Presidents and their wives, as well as other dignitaries in the audience. An orchestra provided musical entertainment during the banquet and at the dance that followed.

MCAA's 28th International Masonry Conference was officially closed the following morning. Thursday, March 16, with the second of two Executive Board Meetings when Officers and Regional Vice Presidents were inducted into office.

MCAA's 29th International Masonry Conference & Educational Trade Show will be held March 1-7, 1979 at the Atlanta Marriott, Atlanta, Ga.
