Meet MCAA's New...
Treasurer
ROBERT C. TUBESING
Bob Tubesing has begun his second term as treasurer of MCAA, having previously held that post in 1970-71. He also has served the Association as regional vice president as well as president of the Milwaukee Chapter and Wisconsin state chairman.
In committee work, he has chaired the Publications, Material Handling and Finance Committees. He was chairman of the Finance Committee when it recently undertook the reorganization of MCAA's financial structure.
Bob is also one of the founding trustees of the Bricklayers & Trowel Trades International Pension Trust and a trustee of Masons Local #8 (Wisconsin) Welfare & Vacation Fund and the Building Trades United Pension Fund.
Professionally, Bob is president of Tubesing Construction Co., headquartered in New Berlin, Wis. The firm, which was founded in 1911 by his father, William F. Tubesing, is a diversified operation performing a variety of masonry and construction work in the Greater Milwaukee area.
Bob was honored in 1976 by being named "Construction Man of the Year" by the Allied Construction Employers Association in Wisconsin. He also received the Award of Merit from the American Institute of Steel in 1970 and the Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award in 1974.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. degree in civil engineering, Bob served with the U.S. 8th Air Force in Europe in World War II. In community affairs, he is a director of the Central Bank of West Allis, Wis., and is active in church affairs, the American Field Service, DeMolay, Job's Daughters, Tripoli Motor Corps, and other civic groups.
He and his wife, Dorothy, have three married daughters, Jean, Karen and Donna, and a son, Richard.

D.T. ALLEN
D.T. Allen is president of D.T. Allen & Company, Inc., Newport Arkansas, one of the leading masonry firms in Arkansas specializing in commercial and industrial work. He began his masonry career as an apprentice in 1946, and became president of the firm bearing his name in 1954.
He has served as MCAA Arkansas state chairman for 12 years, and is immediate past president of the Arkansas Chapter, after having held the posts of secretary and vice president in that organization. In 1977 he was chosen as the Arkansas Chapter's "Outstanding Mason Contractor."
A dedicated worker for the masonry industry and the MCAA, D.T. has been a member of the MCAA Safety and Material Handling Committees, and was recently chairman of the Insurance Committee.
Over the years D.T. has been extremely active in numerous local civic and service organizations. He has served on the Selective Service Commission, the City Council, and the board of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Recently he was named to the board of directors of the Tennessee Forging Steel Corporation, a Virginia-based firm.
D.T. and his wife, Fran, enjoyed their 33rd wedding anniversary a short time ago. They have a son, Mike, and three grandchildren. Mike is presently vice president of D.T. Allen & Company.
Along with business and community interests, D.T. says he enjoys golf as a hobby.
