MGM Grand Hotel Reno, Nevada

This three-part Pre-Conference MCAA Seminar, conducted by the MCAA Education Committee, Carl Schiesser, Chairman, is designed to provide valuable information to the Mason Contractor in a variety of areas to aid him in his day-to-day business operations. The main thrust is to help him achieve bigger profits from his business. Some of the subjects to be explored at this year's Institute are:

PART I
"Insurance and Bonding for the Mason Contractor"
Wednesday, February 25, 1981, 1:30 p.m.

This is a special presentation developed by Bob Gill and Bob Sunich, Vice Presidents of The Talbert Corporation, Denver, Colorado, a surety bonding and insurance agency specializing in construction contractors. They will review in depth all casualty and property lines of insurance necessary for the Mason Contractor and analyze the history of suretyship. Everyone attending this seminar will receive a special insurance workbook compiled especially for this presentation. The workbook has 18 sections and over 75 pages as well as three AIA forms.

PART II

Thursday, February 26, 1981, 9:15 a.m.

This timely and important subject will be examined by Jerry G. Pope, Construction Management Consultant from Greeley, Colorado, and a name long recognized in the masonry industry. Mr. Pope will be assisted in this presentation by three MCAA members with wide experience in the loadbearing masonry field-Dan Berich, Denver, Colorado; C. L. Cook, Decatur, Georgia, and Layton Pettit, Spartanburg, South Carolina.

PART III
