MCAA?€™s Convention at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry is the industry?€™s premier event to find the latest news and information regarding your association and the masonry industry, gather the resources and information you need to stay competitive, increase profits and strengthen your operation. Come for a week and spend the rest of the year building your business. Make it a priority to be part of the action!

Some of the highlights of this year?€™s convention include the Opening Session Lunch featuring special guest and keynote speaker, Henry Winkler. Henry has become a true success in Hollywood as an actor, producer, director and author, and has spent nearly three decades in show business. He is one of the most recognized actors in the world, often remembered for his portrayal of "The Fonz" for 10 seasons on the hit series "Happy Days." Most recently, he has been co-authoring a series of children's novels, "Hank Zipper," based on his own struggle through school due to undiagnosed learning challenges. The series has appeared on several Best Sellers lists. Today, he continues to act, produce, write and direct, and is chairman of several national children's foundations.

The 2008 Convention will also feature the first ever Mason Contractor Appreciation Night. Join us for a night of food, drinks, door prizes and fun at Caesars Palace. Door prizes could include casino chips, cash, industry equipment and much more. Don't miss out on your chance to "hit the jackpot" while networking with the industry! All contractors are invited to attend. This event will not be one to miss.

All of the masonry industry?€™s major national competitions will be in the same location for the first time! The SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® will be held on Wednesday, January 23. Thursday, January 24 will feature the MCAA's International Masonry Skills Challenge and the Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition. All three contests will be broadcast on the Jumbotron.

If you have not done so already, visit convention.masoncontractors.org and make your plans to join us at this year's MCAA Convention at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
