His family later moved to Illinois where he received his major education. He is often referred to as the Twentieth Century Lincoln.
His deep understanding of the "problems" and "issues" of our times is reflected in the constructive program he advocates.

On Saturday evening the Convention closed with a Banquet in the Crystal Hall. Master of ceremonies for the evening was State Chairman Donald Cook. Short addresses were given by Memphis Chapter President A. Madwell, MCAA President Dietrich and George Miller. Next years Annual Meeting will again be held in August at Gatlinburg, Tenn.
