LULL High-Lift LOADER PROVES
ITS
CAPACITY
AND
MOBILITY!

Handling 55 Cars
of Limestone
... at the Rail Siding
... in the Yard
...and on the Job-Site!

Last year when the Standard Construction Company, Inc., of Minneapolis got the new 25-story St. Paul Hilton Hotel job job... they faced the problem of unloading, storing and handling the huge quantity of Indiana Limestone panels to be used as exterior facing. 55 cars of limestone were required, with a majority of the slabs running 4' x 8'. The largest panels were 4' 10" x 10 534", and weighed over 1,100 lbs. Here's what Gene Hamilton, Yard Superintendent and Equipment Manager for Standard says:

"We had recently bought a new Lull 701-31 HIGH LIFT with a standard fork carriage for material handling. By equipping it with an extendible boom and winch attachment, we got the long reach and mobility we needed to handle this stone. We used our Lull first to unload the stone from rail cars. Then it was used to classify and stockpile the panels in our yard. Next we used the machine to load the slabs on semis Then our operator would drive it to the job-site, and unload the same trucks, using the HIGH LIFT to reach in under the scaffolding, and place the panels in racks where we could get at it with an electric chain hoist.. eliminating further handling. Since we've had this machine, we also use it for all kinds of other yard and construction-site material handling jobs."

The Standard Construction Company has owned 4 Lull HIGH LIFT LOADERS, and practically all the interchangeable HIGH LIFT LOADER attachments. Why don't you take a tip from Standard's experience?

There are six models in the Lall HIGH LIFT LOADER line with capacities to 6,000 lbs.... reaching to 40-foot heights. Each model can be equipped with over 20 interchangeable fork attachments and accessories for all types of material handling.
