Brick and Block Are Beautiful
Brick, decorative concrete masonry, brick pavers and a variety of other masonry units were included in the all-masonry exhibit constructed by the Masonry Institute of Wisconsin as a part of the 51st Annual Wisconsin Society of Architects Convention and Exhibit. The exhibit was held at the MECCA Convention Center in Milwaukee, and attracted over 400 architects from Wisconsin and several hundred other persons involved in the construction industry.
The exhibit was a part of the over-all effort to promote the use of masonry in Wisconsin and included a twelve-foot-high waterfall to show the creativity that designers have when using masonry. Adding to the beauty of brick and block is Miss Wisconsin, Keungsuk Kim.
