U.S. Congressman Erlenborn to Keynote
'84 MCAA Masonry Conference

The program for MCAA's 34th Annual International Masonry Conference and Educational Trade Show at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, January 26-31, 1984, shapes up as one of the most varied and informative formats in recent years.

With last-minute details now being finalized, the program presently calls for three pre-conference seminars (January 26-27), an industry promotion meeting, three workshops on Association affairs, two general sessions, 10 committee meetings, the MCAA annual meeting and election of officers, and two Executive Board meetings. In all, more than 20 speakers will participate in these sessions.

Trade Show Personalized

The popular MCAA Trade Show, which this year has been altered to provide more personal contact with the manufacturers' representatives, will run for three days, from Saturday, January 28, through Monday, January 30.

Social events also will abound. In addition to the annual Ladies Program, the planned schedule includes two receptions, a buffet luncheon and the Annual Banquet featuring an orchestra and dancing. The newly elected officers for 1983-84 will be installed at the banquet.

And all of this will take place in New Orleans, one of America's most historic and fascinating cities. An enticing location with a colorful history and a swinging way of life, it is unmatched for its unique Creole and Cajun cuisine, its scintillating jazz and Dixieland music, and its ornate, centuries-old architecture. There definitely will be something for everyone, both in the Conference program and in the sights and sounds of New Orleans.

Congressman Will be Keynoter

The keynote speaker for the Conference will be United States Representative John N. Erlenborn from the 13th Congressional District of Illinois.
