INDUSTRY TOUR continued
Brussels Typifies Medieval Magnificence
In Brussels you'll wonder at its sophistication and energy. Visit the medieval magnificence of the Guild Houses on Grand Place, famed for its beautiful square and lively night life. Wander among fountains of Parc Royal or shop for Belgian lace in Rue Neuve. Sample a crisp waffle with fruit and cream or head for Palais De Beaux Arts concerts. In addition there will be time to meet with some of the leading members of Belgium's masonry industry.
After a three-night stay at the Hyatt in Brussels, you will board deluxe motorcoaches for the scenic journey through southern Belgium and then on to France. Next you'll visit Waterloo, Reims, the Champagne Vineyards and finally Paris, the gateway to France where you'll be staying at the deluxe Hilton International for five nights.
Beauty and Excitement Abound in Paris
From the Hill Montmartre to the quais of the Seine, Paris has never been more beautiful or more exciting. From the Carrousel to the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, the grand vistas are overwhelming. And there are also glimpses of old streets on the Ile-Saint-Louis and quiet corners in Luxembourg Gardens.
There are always special attractions to enjoy in Paris... from the cultural aspects of the ballet at the Opera, great drama at the Comedie Francaise, the priceless art treasures of the Louvre and a score of other museums and galleries, to livelier pursuits at the Lido, Moulin Rouge or any of the many restaurants, bistros and night clubs. While in Paris, too, you'll visit some of the major masonry projects and meet with leading construction firms.
On the final day, you will again board deluxe motorcoaches and head for the northern coast of France, where you'll make a stop at Dunkirk and follow the coastal route to the medieval Belgian city of Bruges, a city of canals, windmills, and historic museums and castles. Bruges is known throughout the world for its fine lace.
After lunch you will again board the motorcoaches for the trip back to Brussels with a quick stop in Ghent. After an overnight stay at the Hyatt, you'll board the Sabena aircraft for the journey home.
So, take advantage of this ideal opportunity to visit wonderful places while enjoying the companionship of your fellow travelers from the Masonry Industry. Use the handy reservation form on page 35 of this issue to assure yourself of trouble-free arrangements to one of the most fascinating regions of Europe.
