Over the past six years, the IMI has spent $350,000 attempting to develop a housing project in Poland. Why does IMI want to build housing in Poland? Joyce has been using the IMI Poland program to write off major parts of his European travel expenses to IMI.

The Masonry Fair in Chicago this past October ran over $1.5-million or approximately 18 percent of IMI's total annual budget. I don't have a clue what this Masonry Fair is all about but I sure could use the work.

The actual return of money to the local areas is shown below:

This is only a measly $8.4-million dollar a year promotion fund. I wonder what's happening to the $800-million dollar International Pension Fund?-Lenny Pardue

New Masonry Board Members
Meet some of the newest members of Masonry Magazine's Review Board.

HOWARD L. DROZ

HOWARD L. DROZ, AIA, is a vice president and corporate consulting architect at the architectural-engineering firm of Smith. Hinchman and Gryllis Associates in Detroit, Michigan. He joined SH&G in 1966, as an architectural designer. He has also served as project architect, project manager and chief architect for the Health Facilities and Transportation Divisions at this firm. He is a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials where he serves on six committees. He is also a board member, and vice president of The Masonry Society. He lectures at the Universities of Wisconsin, Michigan, Notre Dame and National Concrete Masonry Association's conventions as well as other masonry groups. He received his degree from Lawrence Institute of Technology and is a registered architect in the state of Michigan. He has written numerous papers about brick veneer/metal stud exterior walls.
