A WARM WELCOME AWAITED
As the City of Chicago Public Schools sought solutions to aging precast buildings, masonry offered the solution.

It is a normal morning and the hustle and bustle of getting ready for work and school has begun. The weather report blaring in the background warns that it is going to be another typical Chicago winter day, 10 degrees (27 degrees below with the wind chill factor) and to add insult to injury, it is snowing. Your spouse and kids are fighting over who will be first to use the bathroom. Showers need to be taken, teeth brushed, make-up put on and hair dried making it an average, hectic start to the day. As the kids grab their lunches, that were hurriedly made as you tried to drink a cup of coffee, you are thinking about your day ahead and meeting with clients.
As you contemplate the hassle of what a new snowstorm would bring, what it would be like trying to navigate the slush covered streets, never had you imagined that your children's day would be wrought with near unbearable circumstances.
