Arriscraft met the challenges with
Renaissance® Masonry Units
Dee Brown, Inc. utilized the Renaissance Masonry Units in lieu of architectural precast for the 2100 McKinney project in Dallas, Texas. This product, in conjunction with cast stone sills and copings, provide a less expensive, unitized project. That, along with varying finishes and heights, allowed DBI to maintain the overall design intent of the architect. 2100 McKinney, which included 65,000 s.f. of Renaissance won Masonry Construction's "1999 Best High Rise of the Year Award", and has created a strong niche for this product.
Since the 2100 McKinney project DBI has substituted these units for not only precast, but also cut stone. We have utilized this product for private corporations, hospitality projects, municipal projects and educational facilities. In our opinion, the Renaissance Masonry Unit has established itself as a viable masonry solution and will remain as a permanent part of our architectural landscape.
