ESTIMATOR

Our Basalite plant located in Dupont, WA is seeking an Estimator.
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive estimates for Concrete Masonry Unit and Segmental Retaining Wall projects. Works closely with customers on project scope and requirements to establish needs. Works with project engineers' and architects' drawings and blue prints to prepare a complete list of products for projects. Prepares and submits job bids. Visits job sites and consults with customers as needed.
Qualified applicants must have two years of college or trade school or equivalent experience as an estimator. Two years of experience in the concrete block industry preferably as an estimator or project manager. Working knowledge of architecture and mechanical drawings, drafting and blue print reading required. Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings. Strong communication skills and background in mathematics required. This position requires driving and travel.

SITE SUPERVISORS
Responsible for the overall planning, coordination, scheduling, cost control and execution of masonry projects. Trades certification (or equivalent) and site management experience required.
