APA Elects Daniel as President
The Architectural Precast Association (APA) elected Randy Daniel, owner and president of Seaboard Concrete Products Co. in Richmond, Va, as its next president to serve a two-year term. Daniel has served on the APA Board of Directors for six years, four of which he held the offices of secretary/treasurer and VP. He also headed the membership and awards committees.
The QUIKRETE Companies Expands Into Western Canada
The QUIKRETE Companies acquired Target Products Ltd., a producer of dry-mix concrete and cement-related products in Western Canada. With manufacturing and distribution facilities near Vancouver, British Columbia, and in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, Target Products offers a diverse product line serving both consumer and professional markets, in addition to specialized engineering services for the mining and concrete products industry. All Target Products management and employees will be retained and remain under the leadership of former principals, Dallas Mowat, Neil Duke and John Giraud.

JLG Industries Inc. appointed Frank Cholewicki to the position of VP-Americas finance. The company has also expanded the responsibilities of Tim Morris, Wayne Lawson and Andrew Satterley. Morris was promoted to VP, market development and sales for the Americas. Lawson is VP, sales and customer support for EAME, and has assumed overall responsibility for the development and implementation of JLG's market development and sales strategies in the Europe, Africa and Middle Eastern markets. Satterley was promoted to managing director for Australia and New Zealand. JLG also promoted Rick Alton to VP and general manager for JLG's Caterpillar Alliance Group.

LATICRETE appointed Adnan Bin-Mahfouz as contractor sales manager. Bin-Mahfouz will serve as the primary coordinator for all activities directly related to major end-users of LATICRETE system materials, and to building participation in the LATICRETE Most Valued Partner (MVP) program. LATICRETE also celebrated the grand opening of its manufacturing plant in China in April 2 at Songjiang, Shanghai. The opening of the China facility represented another milestone in the firm's fifty plus years of presence worldwide.
ProSpec Expands Sales Force
ProSpec added to its sales force, giving the company sales representation throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Tom Lynch focuses on expanding the tile and stone installation materials business in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and parts of northern Illinois. Bret Lynch is responsible for growing ProSpec's tile installation materials business in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. As western regional manager, Gary Williams is responsible for leading the western region sales team. William White is territory sales manager in southern California. Myron Kadillak is territory sales manager for northern California and northern Nevada. Mark Phillips is territory sales manager covering Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah. Kirk Bailey is the territory sales manager for Arizona and Las Vegas. Scott Springs is western states business development manager, with responsibility for obtaining specifications for ProSpec at leading architectural and engineering companies in the West.
