Wagner Companies Hires Heinrichs
The Wagner Companies rehired Jackie Heinrichs as manager of production control. Heinrichs will lead the coordination between sales, estimating, warehouse and manufacturing functions to schedule and deliver product to meet customer needs. She is returning to Wagner after a two-year absence during which she worked as a project manager for Everbrite Inc.
Baker Named to Associated Builders and Contractors Boards
Denise Baker, president and CFO of DRB Electric Inc., was appointed to Associated Builders and Contractors' (ABC) national board and to the board of its Rio Grande chapter (New Mexico). Baker's responsibilities include chairing the Rio Grande chapter's Diversity Committee and serving as a member of ABC'S National Diversity Committee.
Kirchner Block and Brick Named to Certified Builders Guild
Kirchner Block & Brick was named to the Certified Builders Guild (CBG) in St. Louis. The Certified Builders Guild is a not-for-profit organization that certifies builders who have met the organization's rigorous standards. Kirchner Block & Brick Masonry Sales Representative Danielle Klaus serves as the company representative on the Guild.
Olympic Village in Beijing Earns LEED Gold Certification
Athletes in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games stayed at an environmentally friendly Olympic Village. The plan for the village was awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council under its pilot LEED for Neighborhood Development certification program. IMAS
