Brickstainable Winners
Potomac Valley Brick awarded a
$10,000 grand prize in the Integrated
Building Design Category to Jamillah
Muhammad and her team at Perkowitz
& Ruth in Virginia in March at the
BrickStainable Awards Ceremony in
Washington, D.C. A $7,500 grand prize
in the Technical Design category was
awarded to Kelly Winn and his team at
the Center for Architecture Science and
Ecology (CASE) in New York as well.
Muhammad's winning team includes
Ronald Moore, Dindo Mabana, Tou
Boran Pek, Kathleen Stover and Boryana
Fileva. Winn worked with Associate Pro-
fessor Jason Vollen and other members
at CASE.

After more than two years as president of Houston-based
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA), Shigeru
Tanemura returned to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.
(MHI) General Machinery and Special Vehicle headquarters
in a new role as part of the global forklift business team in
Sagamihara, Japan. Hiroshi Nagai was named as president,
which became effective April 1.
Nagai served as senior general manager of the General
Machinery and Special Vehicle Headquarters at MHI in Sagami-
hara, Japan. He has been with MHI and affiliated companies
since 1979 and has more than 23 years of experience in the fork-
lift industry. Nagai is intimately familiar with MCFA, as he previously served as gen-
eral manager for MCFA's manufacturing department from 2001 to 2004.
