tional best employer survey. This comes on the heels of Hilti having achieved top rankings in both national and European employer surveys conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute. Hilti placed 15th in the "multinational workplaces" category and was the second-highest ranked European company on the list. To qualify for participation, companies had to have appeared on at least five national Great Place to Work lists. National rankings are based mainly on interviews carried out with randomly selected employees. Results of these interviews count for two-thirds of the scoring. Questions focus on topics including believability, respect, fairness and team orientation.
Subaru Names Frank, VP of sales and marketing
David Frank has been named VP of sales and marketing by Subaru Industrial Power Products. Frank has nearly 10 years of experience in engine and power products sales, and, most recently, has been directly responsible for Subaru's industrial engine sales division. In his new position, Frank's primary focus is on strategic planning, account sales and management, and establishing new partnerships with retail centers and rental houses. In addition to new responsibilities, Frank continues to oversee the industrial engine sales division. He has taken on new duties in that role as well including territory designation and management, growing the sales team, and expanding Subaru's customer support center to further enhance the company's brand promise of superior service and support.
