TMC names new Community Planner

Words: Lindsey StringerThe Texas Masonry Council is proud to announce Jennifer Wilkins as our new Community Planner for the Houston/South Texas region. Thad Cleckler, TMC President, noted today, "On behalf of the TMC Board of Directors, we are excited to welcome Jennifer to our organization. Her proven experience will help ensure the growth of the TMC."

Jennifer brings with her a vast understanding of the non-profit industry as well as an extensive background in marketing, management, and business development. For the past four years, she was Owner of Jennifer Wilkins and Associates Business Services, a business that provides outside marketing, event planning, and business development.

In her role as Community Planner, Jennifer will help cities and communities shape their future by providing education and information about masonry; its many types, colors, textures and shapes; its contributions to sustainable design; and masonry's long term positive impact on property values.
