2015 ICPI/NCMA Government Officials webinar series

Words: Michael Allen-perryThe Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and the National Concrete Masonry Association have teamed up to develop a four-part series of free webinars for government officials to promote the use of ACBs, pavers and SRWs.

Members are encouraged to invite their local government officials to participate on June 9 at 1 pm EDT. The first webinar will be in "SRW Best Practices." This presentation will introduce attendees to the newest information on segmental retaining wall design and construction practices. Tim Bott of Allan Block Corporation will present the information. The second webinar on July 21 at 1 pm EDT will be on "Long-Term Performance of Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavements (PICP)." This webinar demonstrates site, construction, and owner considerations required for long-term infiltration and structural performance of PICPs. This webinar will be presented by Kevin Earley of Anchor Wall Systems, Inc., and ICPI Technical Director David Smith.
