Multiquip introduces state of the art walk-behind trowel

Words: Jon AlbersonMultiquip, the leader in concrete finishing, introduces the new MQ Whiteman InstaClutch™ line of walk-behind concrete finishers.

Multiquip's line of InstaClutch Walk Behind power trowels offer a new innovative clutch system that immediately disengages the drive system should the operator release the handle. The advanced friction clutch stops the unit within a quarter of a turn even when running at full RPM. It also eliminates the need to throttle down during momentary work stoppages. The operator can safely resume operation without having to restart the engine. The InstaClutch System also absorbs more of the initial engagement power surge during operation. These new features combined with our industry leading design will continue to deliver years of trouble free operation.

The InstaClutch™ drive systems are available on MQ Whiteman 36-inch and 46-inch diameter trowels. Handle assemblies for the InstaClutch system include a standard Fine Pitch Control (SXHC) or a Quick Pitch Option (QXHC).

For more than 75 years professional contractors have turned to MQ Whiteman power trowels for innovation, quality and dependable performance.
