Quick Headers Will Become Silver Member In The Masonry Alliance Program

Words: Isa Stein

The MCAA is excited to announce that Quick Headers, the developer of a temporary, removable shoring support system used when setting CMU and ACC block over window or door openings, will move into the Silver Tier of the Masonry Alliance Program. Quick Headers will be one of just 70 companies to receive unprecedented access to the $33 billion masonry industry. “We are thrilled to continue our alliance and support of the great MCAA organization and their wonderful team! We are inspired by their dedication to the industry and its members and appreciate all their efforts to keep Masonry Strong!” said Judy Kelly, Vice President at Quick Headers. The current MCAA Strategic and Corporate Partnerships will be phased out at the end of the year. Starting in 2024, the Masonry Alliance Program’s four tiers will be the only way for active industry suppliers to be involved. Items like event attendance, sponsorships, advertising, and more will no longer be available ala carte outside of the program. “Quick Headers is a company we’ve loved seeing grow over the years. Not only are they supporters of what we do, we consider their team our friends. Their feedback as a Corporate Partner in the early stages of the MAP’s development was quite helpful, and we’re so happy to welcome them into the program,” said Todd Fredrick, MCAA Director of Development. The Masonry Alliance Program’s four tiers each have a cap on the number of companies who can participate. The Program’s capacity of 70 companies will not be expanded. About Quick Headers: Quick Headers specializes in an innovative masonry shoring support system that will considerably increase job productivity, efficiencies and profitability when setting concrete masonry blocks (CMU) or Autoclaved Aerated Blocks (AAC) over openings. Environmentally sensitive, these patented, removable and reusable masonry steel beams efficiently eliminate traditional wood bucks, saving masons and General Contractors substantial money and time. Quick Headers range in sizes from 2’ to 16’ in length, and with the new Quick Connect, all sizes of Quick Headers can link effortlessly together in order to cross over virtually any opening length. Post shores are only needed for every 6’ of length and can reach 3’ to 39’ in height. Quick Headers established their first rental operation in Utah in 2015 and has converted nearly every mason away from wood bucks across the state with a 100% retention rate. They opened a second rental operation in Nevada in 2022, and as the manufacturers of Quick Headers, they sell the product direct to masons across the country and Canada. Changing the industry standard for shoring, Quick Headers have become known as the best bucking thing you have ever seen! Never build a wood buck again!
