CLINIC NEARS COMPLETION

The Portland Child Guidance Clinic built by the UMA is nearing completion. During a recent visit to the Pacific Northwest MCAA Ex. Vice President George Miller inspected the project and highly commended E. Lyle Parsley, UMA President, on this most worthwhile public service project. The structure includes classrooms, playroom, offices, a waiting room and staff room.

The Portland UMA several years ago helped construct the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and recently completed a fall-out shelter in the basement of Oregon Governor Hatfield's home.

ARKETEX CERAMIC CORPORATION

YOU KNOW TILE... because they know clay! Structural facing tile is made of clay; but no single clay on earth will provide all of the qualities for which you specify Arketex Ceramic Glazed Structural Tile. An Arketex Tile is rather, a careful blend of clays, each of which contributes a specific property of strength, hardness or texture. The blended clay is die-shaped into production tiles, and machine cut for precise dimensional uniformity. Allowance is even made for the contraction of the tile during the slow drying process. Because the men of Arketex know the behavior of clay, you are able to specify a facing tile that is invariably predictable in appearance, performance and dimension.
