The photograph above and the one on the cover are from beautiful glazed brick murals on the Wonderland Shopping Center, Livonia, Michigan. The murals were designed by Louis G. Redstone and Allan G. Agree, Architects, and constructed by the Kanfer Construction Co., Livonia, Michigan. These two colorful walls not only display originality, but also a high quality of bricklaying and masonry "know-how." There were thousands of brick and many thousands of cuts. Some brick had as many as five cuts to get their desired shape. All of the work, including the laying and the cutting, was completed in 20 working days. One of the murals is 80 feet long and 10 feet high while the other is 80 feet long and 7 feet 6 inches high.
