Portland Sells Masonry In Homes

sq. ft. of floor space on the main floor with an additional 1,000 ft. in the basement.

Features include four bedrooms, three baths, three fireplaces, fallout shelter and a screened yard area. In the construction, 81½ tons of stone, 20,000 brick and 2,500 concrete masonry units were used. Practically all of the masonry was produced in the Pacific Northwest from raw materials found in the area.

Members of the Unit Masonry Association of Oregon did an excellent job in coordinating and promoting this project. The thousands of favorable comments received show that masonry materials, when properly mechandized, are the number one choice of the American public.
