MILWAUKEE APPRENTICE '65 CHAMPION

Kurt Giera, Local No. 8, Milwaukee, Wis., is the 1965 National Apprentice Champion. Giera was winner of the Competition that was held in Pittsburgh, Pa., May 21 through 23. Runner up was Jack Brewer, Local No. 55, Columbus, Ohio. Third and fourth place were won by Robert L. Del Bianco, Local No. 2, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Eugene Konieczny, Local No. 75, Greensburg, Pa., respectively.

Thirty-nine young apprentices were entered in this years contest which was held at the new Pittsburgh Arena in conjunction with the AFL-CIO Union Industries Show. Michael Coco, MCAA Masonry Industries Chairman, Awarded Giera a check on behalf of MCAA members for winning this years meet.
