January 20-21, 1967 'Masonry Estimating Course" is scheduled for the Marriott Motor Motel, Atlanta, Ga, Contact O. L. Jollay, 40 Franklin St., Avondale Estates, Ga. or the MCAA Executive Office.
Future Scheduling
"Masonry Estimating" is being scheduled for the western states during the first part of 1967 with stops in Phoenix, Portland and/or Seattle. Those Chapters interested in conducting one of MCAA's Management Institutes should contact the Executive Office and make arrangements for their area.

This seminar will be devoted specifically to the practical aspects of load bearing construction with great emphasis being placed on quality and job control of the masonry project.
On Tuesday afternoon MCAA will hold its Annual Meeting at the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel which will be followed by the Annual Banquet and Dinner Dance in the Khorrasan Room.
Members and others are urged to make their advance registration and hotel room reservations as soon possible so that they may be assured the best possible arrangements.
Fall Board Meeting

In addition, the Nominating Committee composed of Jack Cook. Allen Young, Robert Tubesing. Harold Peterson, and Robert Ebeling submitted to the Executive Board its recommendations for a slate of officers to be elected at the Annual Meeting in St. Louis.

The Concrete Masonry Association of Illinois has released its first Ideal Sheets and has mailed it to 1,800 architects and engineers throughout Illinois. Featured is the Imperial 400 Motel, Rosemont, III. Emanuel Rohde, who founded the Tennessee Stone Co. in 1933, died during October at the age of 71 in Knoxville, Tenn.
Robert E. Hartman has been elected vice president and secretary and James F. Collins elected treasurer of the Alpha Portland Cement Co. William L. Taggart has been appointed president of the Dewey and Almy Chemical Div., W. R. Grace & Co.
