Stephen Raimo arrived back in New York at 5 A. M. after a noon departure. The Robert Ebelings and the Dwight Lewises were just plain stranded at the resort. Those who drove found the intense heat a real obstacle.
Newly elected Vice President-Sales, Arketex Ceramic Corp. is Ronald Bledsoe. On July 27th the Detriot Mason Contractors Association held their Annual Outing at Bonnie Brook Country Club. Jim Gillstrom is the newly appointed Sales Manager for E. L. Ramm Co., La Grange, III., one of the Midwest's finest hard material firms. MC-AA's Fall Executive Board Meeting will be held at the Caribe Hilton, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nov. 3-7.
The Board of Directors of International Harvester has elected Omer G. Voss a member of the Board. An IH executive vice president, he succeeds David G. Moyer, who retired as vice president and general counsel on July 1, 1965. Harland J. Briner has been named product manager Schield Bantam Div. of Koehring Co. in an announcement by V. E. Pray, division general sales manager. Hansen & Hempel are Masonry Contractors on the new addition of Pepperridge Farm Bakery, Downers Grove, III.
Frank Sigl has been named manufacturing manager of PCM Division of Koehring Co., according to H. P. Mueller, Jr., president and general manager of the division. Sigl is now responsible for all manufacturing Functions including general plant operation, production control and purchasing. The architectural firm of Kaitis-Sommer is now located at 407 S. Dearborn st., Chicago, III. New members of the Chicago Chapter are John Vaci & Sons, Palos Hills, III. and D. H. Johnson, Villa Park, III.
H. Bobbitt Aikin has been elected President of the Calcium Chloride Institute. In this capacity he succeeds William E. Dickinson who has accepted a position as President of the Salt Institute. The Concrete Masonry Association of Illinois will hold their Board of Directors meeting at the Holiday Inn, Mattoon, III., on July 2nd.
