Placing a modern office building today in one of Chicago's northern suburbs, and still meeting the aesthetic requirements of the locality, is no small task. Using a colonial design, that blended with the beautifully forested area, architects Ezra Gordon-Jack M. Levin & Associates did an outstanding job in creating a structure, with a pleasing appearance that was well integrated into the community.

Of special note in the completed project is the effective way that the beautifully surrounding area has been opened up into the interior of the structure, so that the offices have an atmosphere of openness. General contractor for the project was Pat Filippi, Oak Brook, Illinois, who teamed up with A. Fabbri and Sons to use several unique building techniques on the structure.

So each of the lintels would blend in with the overall brick work, they were precast on the ground and then installed as the building progressed. Tying in with the lintel design the architects used the masonry to provide
