Edens Executive Center, 3201 Old Glenview Road, Wilmette, III. The region is headed by Thomas F. Egan. The law firm of Broeker, Bachman and Heetland has been appointed legal counsel for the Concrete & Masonry Contractors Association of Minneapolis.

Robert Oliverio has been appointed operations manager at the Zonolite Libby, Montana mine and mill facility of the Construction Products Division of W. R. Grace & Co., Cambridge, Mass., and Emil J. Petrasek has been named research manager for the firm's Servicised/Horn/Bituthene product lines. Thirty-three Zonolite plant superintendents attended a three-day meeting recently at the company's Cambridge headquarters. Purpose was to launch a new training program dealing with manufacturing standards, safety, motivation and communications. The appointment of John W. Shea to the newly created post of operations controller has been announced by Huron Cement Division of National Gypsum Co., Southfield, Mich.

At the November meeting of the Minneapolis Chapter, B. W. Bauman, P.E., discussed "Load Bearing High Rise Masonry". Robert G. McMaster has been named to the newly-created post of marketing manager, Concrete Machinery Division, J. I. Case Co. Ron Schifko, Masonry Institute of Michigan, will be the featured speaker at the joint General Membership Meeting of the Minneapolis and St. Paul Mason Contractor Associations.


SCPI Appoints Wakefield

Donald Wakefield, director of Region 12, SCPI, has accepted the position of Vice President of the Interstate Brick Co. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Wakefield had been with the region for 13 years and has been responsible for many innovations which have helped increase the use of masonry in the Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming area.


Zonolite Names VP's

The appointment of Harry A. Brown as vice-president, operations, and Bruce R. Williams as vice-president, Zonolite building products has been announced by Rodney M. Vining, president, Construction Products Division, W. R. Grace & Co., Cambridge, Mass.

Brown will oversee a number of division activities including Zonolite building products, Zonolite horticultural products, manufacturing, engineering, research, advertising and public relations.

Williams has been general manager for Zonolite building products. The Zonolite field sales organization and Zonolite product management group report to him.
