Engineering Excellence Awards Presented
Walter L. Dickey, P.E., Los Angeles consulting engineer (left), hands an Award of Engineering Excellence to Bill Sallada and George Hanson of the Denver-based firm of Sallada & Hanson during a banquet ceremony in the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. The awards were sponsored by the Colorado Masonry Institute and the Masonry Advancement Program as administered by the Colorado Mason Constractors Association. Dickey was chairman of the jury, which considered buildings completed in the state of Colorado within the past five years. Of the 11 honors given, Sallada & Hanson captured two awards for engineering excellence and two for engineering merit.
