Nolfi Receives Pennsylvania Award

Anthony P. Nolfi (left), president of Frommeyer & Co., Inc., the Employing Bricklayers Association, and the Delaware Valley Masonry Institute in Pennsylvania is shown receiving the Governor Milton J. Shapp Tribute for outstanding contributions to the masonry trade and the entire construction industry. Making the presentation is Paul Smith, Secretary of Labor and and Industry, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Governor's Tribute cited Nolfi's establishment of the Architectural Excellency in Masonry Award, an added stimulus to young architects aiming for the highest standards of quality in their workmanship. The presentation was a feature of Masonry Week proclaimed jointly by Governor Shapp and Philadelphia Mayor Rizzo.
