If You're Interested in Safety, You Need MCAA's "ROUGH TERRAIN FORK LIFT SAFETY TRAINING MANUAL"

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) has published its all-new Rough Terrain Fork Lift Safety Training Manual-the first safety training guide of its type for rough terrain fork lift operation!

This valuable, three-part work was developed to promote many important Mason Contractor benefits including compliance with OSHA safety regulations, greater job safety, protection from death and injury, respect for proper care of equipment, greater productivity through proper operating procedures, and a more professional attitude by those who operate the technically advanced and expensive rough terrain fork lifts used by today's Mason Contractors.

The text was developed through the coordinated efforts of MCAA's Material Handling, Safety and Education Committees with input from various prominent fork lift manufacturers, safety professionals and consultants. The project was coordinated and authored by Mac Terry, Executive Director, Colorado Mason Contractors Association.

This important teaching reference utilizes programmed learning the student answers questions in the book and takes review quizzes at the end of each section. After the course is completed, the administrator (instructor) conducts a closed-book, written qualifying examination. The individual Mason Contractor, Training Center, or Union can effectively serve as the administrator.

The safety course consists of a three-part set: 1) Manual, 2) Administrator's Guide, and 3) Written Qualifying Exam. Profusely illustrated with 76 photos and 31 diagrams, sections of the 64-page Manual are devoted to the Operator, the Fork Lift, Site Conditions, Load, and Inspection and Maintenance. Special perforated cards on the back cover of the Manual can be retained by the trainee and the administrator as proof of proficiency upon successful completion of the course.
