ROBERT H. HATCH
Meet MCAA's New President

Robert H. Hatch is president and sole owner of Hatch Masonry, Inc. headquartered in South El Monte, California. In operation under Bob's guidance for the past 21 years, the firm performs the bulk of its work in the industrial, commercial and governmental sectors in the greater Los Angeles area.

Prior to founding his company, more than twenty years ago, Bob Hatch worked for thirteen years in a management capacity with another mason contractor. Bob graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in architectural engineering and is a registered civil engineer in the state of California.

Bob served the Association as vice president, secretary, treasurer, regional vice president and continues his position as president of the MCAA Los Angeles Chapter. He has served in many other capacities with the Association. He was a management trustee of the Health & Welfare and Pension Funds for the Brickmasons of Los Angeles and Orange Counties in California for several years and has chaired numerous MCAA committees. As an instrument rated airplane pilot, Bob oversees his jobsites by flying a Cessna P210. He is a World War II Navy veteran and an avid photographer and golfer, and can sometimes be found flying to Mexico to fish. He also travels extensively with his wife, Mim, and is a member of Rotary International.

Bob and Mim have three children. "They all live on the West Coast and are pursuing their own careers," says Bob. "Steve is in San Francisco, Scott is in Seattle and Susan is in Los Angeles. All are doing well and we now have four fine grandchildren."
