Ancient Art Adds New Dimensions to Interior Design
By PAUL SNYDER
President, Unique Productions

Brick sculpturing is an aspect of interior brick application which is really works of art in brick. By exploiting brick's texture, rich colors and durability, a sculptor creates a limitless variety of designs, adding a whole new touchable dimension to interior design. Brick is flexible enough to be used in creating logos, landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife scenes, plaques, or just about anything imaginable. Here artist Jerry Brailsford of Springville, Utah, incorporated a client's favorite hunting lodge in this family room fireplace. Once limited to enjoying this scene during a short period during the hunting season, brick sculpture turns this fireplace into an outdoor scene to be enjoyed the entire year.
