It All
Seems
So
Easy

THANKS TO the behind-the-scenes dedicated professionals on the MCAA, NCMA and TMS staffs, Masonry Expo '95, just concluded in Las Vegas, came off almost flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly. Few of those in attendance know of the hours, weeks and months of planning and hard work devoted to insuring the success of such an event. A tip of the hat to the pros who make it seem so easy.

NOW the behind-the-scenes planning and work is starting all over again for Masonry Expo '96 in New Orleans, January 27-29, 1996. And, without doubt, it'll be bigger and better... and seemingly easier to pull off... than the last.

A DETAILED report on the Expo and the MCAA, NCMA and TMS conference sessions held concurrently with the Expo, will appear in our May/June issue. Winners of Masonry Magazine's 2nd International Excellence in Masonry competition, which again drew the best of the best from all the U S. and Canada, will also be featured in our next issue.

BRICK sculptor Donna Dobberfuhl's masterpiece, "Horses in Motion," executed on-site in Las Vegas, will be mounted in the MCAA executive offices in Oak Brook, Illinois. Donna, a World renowned sculptor, reprised her appearance at last year's Expo, and it's hoped will be available to demonstrate the art in New Orleans next year. -Gene Adams
