Each brick sculpture exists only in one place-it "belongs there." People know and appreciate that.

OVER THE YEARS I have successfully completed a number of sculptures for a variety of institutional settings. My style could be described as naturalistic with the application of certain classical principles. I feel my strength is in carving the human figure in full scale, but as well, various projects have given me the opportunity to incorporate and carve many different subjects, wildlife, portraiture, still life, signage, mythological themes, and rural/urban concepts to name a few. To create a strong visual statement, I carve green oversized brick modules which allow me to create forms of high relief which may be embellished with the application of fired in brick pigments.
