Donald E. Larsen of Thorleif Larsen & Son has assumed the mantle of leadership of the Mason Contractors Association of America. After serving ten years in officer capacities with the MCAA, Larsen was elected to the MCAA Presidency on February 18 and will continue to steer the national association toward achieving a dominate leadership role in the construction industry.

Frank Campitelli

Elected to his second termas Regional Vice President of the Mason Contractors Association of America, Frank Campitelli has served years in various voluntary leadership capacities in the local mason contractors association. Campitelli first became active in 1969. In the early 1970's he became an officer of the Mason Contractors Association of Baltimore and later served as President from 1976-78 and then again in 1982-84. Campitelli also served on the Masonry Institute Board for nearly twenty years. He currently serves on the Board of the local American Subcontractors Association Board. In addition he serves as a Trustee of the Brick layers Local 1 Apprenticeship Board and has done so for the past sixteen years.

Robert Schuerman, President of Peterson Construction, has served in voluntary positions in the local Ohio area since 1980. Since his first involvement, Schuerman has served on the apprenticeship committee and has been very active with area promotional programs through masonry demonstrations and visits to architect's offices. Schuerman served as Chairman of the MCAA National Marketing Committee for several years and was recently elected to his third term as Regional Vice President for the MCAA.

Serving as President of the Mason Contractors Association of Greater Chicago for six years has given Mark Larsen a strong perspective of the masonry industry. During his tenure as President of Greater Chicago Chapter, the chapter grew to one of the more influential mason contracting associations in the country. Since stepping down as chapter president, Larsen became the Chairman of the Mason Contractors Association of America's Publication Committee which oversees the publishing of MASONRY Magazine. He has elevated his service to the masonry industry by recently being elected to a first term as Regional Vice President.

John Spencer

Having just been elected to a term as President of the MCA St. Louis, John Spencer, President of Spencer Brickwork, is now setting his sights on a new role as a first term Regional Vice President of the national MCAA.
