THE MASONRY SHOW Keynote Lunch with Jim Bouton

Jim Bouton, known in high-school as "Warm Up Bouton" because he never made it into the game, won 21 games for the New York Yankees and made the all-star team in 1963. Later he won 18 games and beat the Cardinals twice in the World Series. During his brief retirement from baseball, Jim authored Ball Four, the funny, irreverent, all-time bestseller revealing baseball players as human beings. At 39 Jim re-entered the major leagues and pitched his first major league win in 8 years against the San Francisco Giants! To his credit, Jim received the highest honor of his career when he was featured in The Sports 100: The 100 Most Important People in American History.

Jim Bouton, a stone mason himself, has not only agreed to kick-off THE MASONRY SHOW with his inspiring and entertaining stories, but he has agreed to assist with the building of the MCAA Habitat for Humanity Home along with the apprentices competing in the Masonry Skills Challenge during THE MASONRY SHOW.
