Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWR Institute) Liquid Sealants Validation Program.

The products passed when tested using third-party verification to certify that the products not only consistently met the design specifications, but also performs to industry standards. Thus, proving the product's technical data sheets are correct and allowing end-users to feel confident about the products' capabilities.

The products were tested by DL Laboratories Inc. for conformance to ASTM C719 and ASTM C661.

Blastrac Unveils New Website
Blastrac Global's website, www.blastrac.com, was recently revamped to include more options benefiting both Blastrac customers and the flooring surface preparation industry.

The new site allows customers to purchase products online and to take advantage of monthly specials and sales on Blastrac products. The site's "My Account" area securely stores customer information for quick and convenient checkout, while also showing transaction histories and other upcoming products for sale that correspond with the customer's line of business.

SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference
SkillsUSA returns to Kansas City, Mo., June 26-29 for the 43rd annual National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), a showcase of career and technical education students.

More than 13,750 people-including students, teachers and business partners - are expected to participate in the weeklong event.

The SkillsUSA Championships will be held on Thursday, June 28 in H. Roe Bartle Hall and Municipal Auditorium. More than 4,500 outstanding career and technical education students all state contest winners - will compete hands-on in 87 different trade, technical and leadership fields.

Students work against the clock and each other, proving their expertise in occupations like masonry, electronics, computer-aided drafting, precision machining, medical assisting and culinary arts.

Contests are run with the help of industry, trade associations and labor organizations, and test competencies are set by each industry.

The competitions will be open to the public and free of charge.
