Green, Lime-Based Product
bioLime
Orlando, Fla.

bioLime Inc. formulas are 100 percent natural and free of toxic additives and admixtures. bioLime works by acting as a durable, energy-efficient "breathable skin," surrounding a building's structure and promoting a healthy living environment for the inhabitants. Some of the benefits of lime include moisture resistance and breathability, which eliminate key issues in the building industry such as mold, toxins and water damage. The lime ingredient is self-healing and has high porosity, resulting in finer fissures that the material can repair on its own, rather than large cracks that require professional repair.

Core Inserted Positioners
Wire-Bond
Charlotte, N.C.

You can take the guesswork out of rebar placement by using core inserted positioners, which are designed to fit 1.5 inches deep, cross the core diagonally and fit tightly in the corners of the core. The core positioners perfectly position the bars in the code compliance zone and allow no movement during installation. They also have an extended tail section (safety bend), so if installed out of plane, the tail will extend outside the wall, alerting the mason to turn it in the opposite position. Double vertical core positioners also are available.

Dust Muzzle Ultra
Braxton-Bragg
Knoxville, Tenn.

The redesigned Dust Muzzle Ultra can capture up to 99 percent of the unhealthy dust created during grinding. It has a side-mounted exhaust port that uses the centrifugal forces created by the grinding wheel to send the dust into the vacuum hose. It can be used with a two-horsepower industrial shop vacuum.
