Anchor Types

Unlike the corrugated sheet metal anchors, these anchors are pre-bent in the factory and provide a much greater compressive strength. The Sheet metal anchors can be used only with wood-frame backups.

3. Wire anchors:

These anchors are used in both residential and commercial applications. They must be a minimum of nine-gage and have a two-inch minimum bent end in the veneer. They can be used with wood and masonry backup walls, but not with a concrete backup wall.

WIRE-BOND®'s "SURE-TIE"

Gets Right To The Point!

Sure-Tie Systems

Sure-Tie systems allow enough vertical movement so that the contractor can present them in a grid of required spacing on the studs, cmu or concrete. Later, when the veneer is ready to be constructed, the mason only needs to insert an adjustable tie into the present anchor and the marriage is complete saving countless time and money. So why fool around when you can get right to the point!
