Dan T. Kinard, P.E. of GZA GeoEnvironmental Promoted to Associate Principal

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, has promoted Dan T. Kinard, P.E., to associate principal at GZA GeoEnvironmental’s Glastonbury, Conn., office.

A resident of West Hartford, Conn., Kinard joined GZA in October of 2009; previously he was a senior project manager with Ocean and Coastal Consultants, with prior employment including as vice president of Haley & Aldrich. His areas of specialization are geotechnical and foundation engineering for buildings, bridges, highway infrastructure, power plants, wind farms, dams and levees, slope stability and stabilization.

Kinard, who prior to his recent promotion was a senior project manager with GZA, has more than 30 years of experience participating in, directing and managing geotechnical investigations and related engineering studies for a wide variety of facilities across the U.S., Middle East and Caribbean. He is a registered professional engineer in Connecticut, Colorado and Texas, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
