We’re in Las Vegas! The sun is shining and the weather is perfect! The 2009 MCAA Convention at the World of Concrete/World of Masonry is about to kick off and we can’t wait to see you!

A few education sessions have already started today and there are several great events you won’t want to miss taking place later in the week such as tomorrow’s Opening Session Lunch with special guest Alan Thicke! Audiences will most likely remember Alan Thicke best for portraying psychiatrist and father Jason Seaver on ABC's Growing Pains. Thicke's distinctive charm and humor have established him as one of America's all-purpose entertainers, playing the main Las Vegas showrooms of the Hilton, Desert Inn and Sands, as well as Atlantic City's Resorts International, numerous cruise ships, and corporate events.

There will also be 900,000+ net square feet of exhibits and over 70 education courses offered that will allow you to earn Masonry Certification credit. Plus thousands of dollars in cash and prizes will be given away throughout the week to the best masons in the industry competing in the International Masonry Skills Challenge, the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500®, and the Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition.

And you won't want to miss out on our Closing Reception when we spend an evening with the Jersey Boys before wesay Bye Bye Baby to Las Vegas! Jersey Boys takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Follow four blue-collar kids working their way from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardom. Oh What a Night it will be!
