AMCA Presents 2010 Region G Masonry Skills Challenge

The Region G Skills Challenge will be held Saturday, November 6.
The Arizona Masonry Contractors Association's Region G Masonry Skills Challenge will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the East Valley Institute of Technology.

The Skills Challenge showcases the training of first, second, and third year masonry apprentices and high school construction education students. In this competition, contestants are given a project drawing appropriate to their skill level and must layout and construct the project in 3 hours. Come observe the next generation of journeymen masons as they compete to qualify for the "MCAA International Skills Competition" in Las Vegas, NV in January 2011.

Competition begins at 7:00 a.m.
Gates Open: 5:00 a.m.
Competitor Registration: 5:30 - 6:00 a.m.
Competitors Stock Projects: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Eligibilty

Must be currently enrolled in the AMCA, Region G or Phoenix Bricklaying & Tilesetting JATC Program.

High School Students must be enrolled in Masonry Programs at their high school.
