The 2012 NCMCA Convention is just a few weeks away! Take a few moments to complete the convention registration forms to insure that you and your guests don’t miss the fellowship and fun this spring at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa. Mark the dates: Thursday April 12 to Sunday April 15, 2012.

Make your room reservations direct with The Grove Park Inn using the online reservation request form. Hotel reservations and deposits are handled directly with the hotel and must be made before March 12, 2012 to insure that you receive our special NCMCA convention room rates.

Fill out and return the
NCMCA convention form to the NCMCA office. Note the option for “ala carte” registration, allowing you to register for only the events you plan to attend. Your best value still remains registering for the entire convention package. Credit card payments are not accepted, however, members in good standing may request to be invoiced.

Golfers should complete the separate golf registration form and include it with their NCMCA convention registration along with golf fees included in the total registration fee. Practice rounds are Friday and the Annual NCMCA Convention Golf Tournament, sponsored by EZ Grout, is Saturday afternoon, featuring an EZ Grout Mud Hog MH-9 Mixer hole-in-one-prize valued at $4,895. Note the discounted golf fee with full convention registration.

The 2012 NCMCA Convention gets underway Thursday evening with the “TriSure Welcome to the Convention Party” featuring entertainer Justin Mychals. Friday morning, Oldcastle Adams Products sponsors a session of political updates and observation from both the Washington and the Raleigh point of view as we hear from MCAA lobbyist Matt Keelen of the Keelen Group and from G.D. Gearino of North Carolina Business Magazine. The Friday evening President’s reception, sponsored by McMahan Insurance & Employee Benefits, is a wonderful opportunity to meet old friends and to make new ones. Saturday morning is the Annual Business Meeting. Your Convention features a special Saturday “Spouse Event” hosted by NCMCA First Lady Deanie Kirby. Saturday evening, enjoy the closing banquet featuring the installation of officers for the 2012-2014 term, and after dinner comments by Chicago masonry’s own Jimmy O’Connor. Sponsored by CEMEX.
