Has your company adopted an “no tolerance” attitude toward occupational hearing loss? Has your company developed innovative approaches towards its prevention? If so, your organization may be a great candidate for a Safe-in-Sound Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention Award.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 Safe-in-Sound. The awards are given by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in partnership with the National Hearing Conservation Association to recognize excellence in hearing loss prevention. The deadline for self-nominations is September 3, 2012. The 2013 awards will be presented on February 22, 2013 at the 38th NHCA Annual Conference in St. Petersburg, FL.
